who were possessed by evil spirits, were tormented right from the first day of the meeting and continued to be tormented for a long time during the second day too, before finally being delivered. Also, God gave me the grace to explain to them the necessity of being anointed by the Holy Spirit and then continue to pray for them. They also were filled with the Holy Spirit, spoke in
tongues and were anointed and blessed. Praising God, I finished the second day meeting and returned back.

After a month, I got an opportunity to speak to the pastor of the same church in which I preached. During the conversation, I enquired about the four youngsters who were delivered and asked if they were fine. He replied that even on the third day, when the preacher prayed for them at the end of the meeting, they were again tormented by the evil spirit. This news greatly affected me. When I prayed, all the four were delivered and spoke in tongues…. then how come, even on the next day they were tormented by the evil spirits? In that case, was the deliverance they received a fake one? Will the devil attack a person who is speaking in tongues? From now on, as I minister and pray for people affected by the evil spirits, how can I trust their deliverance? Many questions of this sort were piercing me. Besides this, I also continued to be seen with a sort of irritation and
anger. As I was battling with such inner struggles within me, one day in my early morning prayer, the Holy Spirit intervened.

The Holy Spirit asked me “Honestly, what is your actual problem….? Are you worried for the four youngsters who have again been troubled by the evil spirits, or that, inspite of you praying for them, they again had the same problem and therefore you were worried what people would think of you or what would happen to your image among them ..? “. Only then did I realize that this burden / trouble of mine was not for the four youngsters but about my image among the people. Realizing that the same irritation and anger that was in Jonah was also found in me, I grieved. The Holy Spirit helped me identify the nature of the problem that was residing in me without my knowledge and also convicted me about its dangerous influence. I repented with tears for the mistake I had done and sought forgiveness from God. Through this, God through practical means, instructed me “Pray with compassion for my people. Do not use your faith to demonstrate through their deliverance that you are a powerful servant of God. Gifts and faith are there to deliver people and lead them to Christ for God’s glory”. Glory be to God who removed my ignorance and enlightened my spiritual eyes.
